Look Around You

June 2024, screen print on paper, wall paint, mirror, acrylic sticker

Look Around You aims to raise people's awareness of the space they are in and the relationship between their bodies and that space.

The red lines are modelled on the spelling error lines in Microsoft Word. These lines highlight words in a text and prompt us to make changes. In this way, they influence our behaviour in digital space. In this installation, I have transferred this interaction to physical space.

The red lines interact with the way visitors physically move through the space. They connect and delimit the prints, mirrors, and space as they guide us through the installation and make us aware of movement and architecture. In this way, the line becomes a visual language.
