Commemorating Julie Thompson Klein

This commissioned work pays tribute to the recently deceased, renowned scientist Julie Thompson Klein. Leading researchers investigating the complexity of interdisciplinary work commissioned me to design a series honouring Thompson Klein's life's work. I worked closely with Bianca Vienni-Baptista at ETH Zurich and her colleagues. The series was exhibited at the ITD24 conference in Utrecht, Netherlands in November 2024 and at the ais25 conference in Oulu, Finland in June 2025. At ais2025, there was an additional artwork by Catherine Lyall, based on the prints.

The result is a series of ten prints with a unified visual language that represents a visual legacy of Julie Klein's mentoring and guidance for her younger colleagues.
