This work was experimenting with the effects of a sound work being played in complete darkness. I wanted to see what associations would be made with the work, when there is no direct visual input. The work was also trying to create an intersection between individual and collective experience. My intention was that the first part of the sound work would be more unsettling and that the second part with the piano would lead people back into a comforting space. The work was also invested in trying to make people more aware of their own heartbeat and physical presence.
